Arrows & Roots NYC

Build Skills and Historical Awareness in this Inclusive, Hands-on Archery Program

Arrows & Roots NYC, is an inclusive archery program designed for young people, young adults, and families to engage in the sport of archery while exploring its deep historical and cultural connections. We strive to make archery accessible to all, regardless of background or experience level, while fostering a deeper appreciation for the cultural significance of this ancient practice. Through hands-on learning, historical education, and guided sessions, we bring this ancient skill to schools, community institutions, and partner programs across New York City.

We offer flexible engagement opportunities, including day, week, month, and six-month residencies, allowing various organizations to integrate archery into their programming. Our goal is to create an accessible, mobile program that fosters confidence, discipline, and historical awareness through the art of archery.
