Interconnected Paths

The swirling black and white lines symbolize interconnectedness, while the flow of water represents abundance and renewal. The artwork envisions new paths for the future, inspired by themes of unity and connection, and honors the past, present, and future.

Family and Friends

Six panels, each measuring seven feet high, depict silhouetted vignettes of students engaged in everyday activities. Silhouetted forms, bold swaths of color and geometric patterns transform historical source photos into dynamic, puzzle-like compositions. The resulting patchwork aesthetic speaks to the crafting traditions from Darkeem’s indigenous heritage.
